This month’s issue of the Monthly Intelligence Report covers incidents that took place between February 1 - 28, 2023, in three focus regions:

Focus topic: After the elections - what’s next for Nigeria?

After his inauguration in May, the new President will have to deal with various security and economic crises, complicated by a lack of financial resources. Short-term solutions to improve the situation in the Niger Delta are one potential response which could have implications on the maritime situation in the Gulf of Guinea.
